World Series of Poker Paradise Full Schedule & Early Bird Offer Revealed

Last month the World Series of Poker announced the return of WSOP Paradise to the Bahamas in December, with the festival being re-inventing itself as a high rollers only affair.

The major news was Main Event will have a $25,000 price tag to enter and will be known as the Super Main Event, with a record setting $50m guarantee assigned to it. This will require 2,000 entries to avoid an overlay.

This was followed soon after by news that the WSOP is being sold to GG Poker’s parent company NSUS, with the main summer series to remain at Caesars properties for the next 20 years.

WSOP Paradise takes place from 6-18 December at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and now the full tournament schedule has been released. It will include 15 bracelet awarding tournaments, the smallest of these has a $2,500 buy-in.

WSOP Paradise Schedule Released

The series begins with a special edition of the Triton Million, in which pros can only compete if they are invited to play by a non-professional player, each paying $500,000 to play.

The twist that Triton throws into the mix for this event is that on the first day of play, the field is split, with all the professional players in one flight, while the non-professionals compete in a separate flight. On day two, the field is merged.

There is also another Triton branded event on the schedule, which is the Triton $100,000 Main Event

The other tournaments on the schedule include a variety of the typical events you would expect to see at a WSOP festival. For the non-Hold’em specialists there are three Pot Limit Omaha events, with buy-ins of $10,000, $50,000 and $100,000. There is also a $25,000 Dealer’s Choice bracelet event.

The rest of the schedule is all No Limit Hold’em, including a mystery bounty, a deepstack and a turbo event as the series closer.

Free Food & Drinks for Players in WSOP Players Lounge

Great news for all players is that the extortionate prices charged for food and beverages at the Atlantis resort can be somewhat mitigated due to the hospitality that is provided, courtesy of the WSOP, GG Poker & the Triton Poker Series.

There will be a players lounge at the venue which will all players participating in the series will have access to. Complimentary lunch and dinner will be served, with snacks and drinks at other times.

Anyone who has been to a poker event here before, such as the PokerStare Caribbean Adventure, will know just how valuable this can be, as prices for food at the resort are known to be unreasonably expensive, even for simple dishes like burgers and pizzas.

Online Satellite Qualification at GG Poker WSOP Paradise

Satellites for the $25,000 Super Main Event are due to start on GG Poker in the near future, but in the meantime, satellites to the WSOP Europe are in full flow on the site, with 34 players having already booked their seats into the €10,350 WSOPE Main Event.

The WSOP Europe begins on September 18th at Kings Casino, Rozvadov and concludes on October 7th, with 14 bracelet events on its schedule.
