GG Poker Releases Schedule for the 2024 WSOP Online

The World Series of Poker Online will take place at online poker site GG Poker from August 18th September to September 30th, 2024. The series will include 33 bracelet events and $61m in guaranteed prizes, however the total prize pools will be much higher, as the vast majority of tournaments do not have guarantees.

The full schedule for the annual event was released just a few days after the announcement that GG Poker’s parent company NSUS is in the process of buying the WSOP brand.

The highlights of the 33 bracelet event schedule include:

A $5,000 buy-in WSOP Online Main Event with a massive $25m guarantee
The $10,300 buy-in GGMillion$ High Rollers event with a $10m guarantee
Many other high buy-in events such as the $25,000 GGMillion$ Super High Rollers Championship
$500 Mini Main Event with a $2.5m guarantee
$1,500 Millionaire Maker with a $5m guarantee
Affordable low buy-in events like the $100 FLIP & GO with a $1m guarantee

The series will feature live broadcasts of the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event on September 24 and the $10,300 GGMillion$ High Rollers on October 1, both hosted by Jeff Gross with special guests, including Daniel Negreanu.

GG Poker Adds $4m in Freerolls linked to the WSOP Online

The WSOP is the most prestigious poker brand in the world and its events tend to market themselves, such is the desire for players to become WSOP bracelet winners. However GG Poker doesn’t just leave it at that and is running two promotions during the series, which will award a combined $4m in prizes, via freerolls.

$3m Continental Flip Outs Promotion

The first of these two promotions designed for the 2024 WSOP Online series is a unique offering called "Continental Flip Outs," where players from bracelet winners’ countries compete in special freeroll tournaments.

How does this Continental Flip Outs Promotion work?

For each of the 33 bracelet tournaments there is a corresponding flip out, which takes place one hour after the bracelet event ends.
Players are assigned to one of four ‘continents,’ named as Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Mediterranean. You may need to check which continent you have been assigned to if you are from Europe, as many of the countries in Europe have been assigned to the ‘Mediterranean’ continent, some which are geographically nowhere near the Med, e.g. Belarus.
The flip outs will be open to players who participated in the event or its satellites who hail from the same ‘continent’ as the bracelet winner,

$1m Country Competition

The WSOP Online 2024 will also feature a $1,000,000 Country Competition, where players from various countries will compete for a chance to win additional prizes. The top 10 countries, based on overall performance of players in the bracelet events, will be awarded with freeroll tournaments for their players.

This initiative aims to foster a sense of community and competition among international players, making the series more engaging and exciting. Players now have an additional reason to cheer on their compatriots.

Country Freerolls will take place on October 5th.

How to Watch the WSOP Online

The 2024 WSOP Online series will feature extensive live coverage through PokerGO, with over 300 hours of streaming planned. Coverage begins on May 30, 2024, with the final table of the $5,000 Champions Reunion.

The ket focus of the coverage will be the $25m guaranteed Main Event. Daily streaming of the $10,000 Main Event starts on July 3, with coverage from Day 1a through the final table on July 16-17. Streaming times will vary, with early sessions starting at 4 p.m. PT and later sessions at 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. PT on certain days.

Additionally, several other major events such as the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller will be streamed live.
