World Poker Festival Returns to GG Poker in May 2024 with $250m in Guaranteed Prize Pools

GGPoker has announced the dates for the return of the World Festival, which will take place from May 5th through to June 11th, with $250m in guaranteed prizepools across the multi-tiered schedule. The World Festival debuted in 2023 with $200m guaranteed and this year’s $50m increase pushes the bar even higher.

GGPoker World Festival 2024 Buy-Ins

The GGPoker World Festival schedule is divided into four separate tiers of buy-in ranges:

Low Tier - Tournaments with buy-ins of 2.50+
Medium Tier - Tournaments with buy-ins of $25+
High Tier - Tournaments with buy-ins of $150+
Super Tier - Tournaments with buy-ins of $1,050+

The schedule will include Phase events (multiple starting days) as well as regular tournaments with just one starting day. The full schedule is yet to be released, but GG Poker has already confirmed that there will be $2.5m in prizes set aside for the World Festival Leaderboards.

Each of the four tiers will have its own leaderboard, awarding points for the best performers in each. Satellite tournaments will be running throughout the series, enabling players to join World Festival tournaments for less than the usual buy-in.

Low Tier - $250,000
Medium Tier - $500,000
High Tier - $750,000
Super Tier - $1m

World Festival Live Streaming
