Negreanu was all-in with his pocket aces while Davies made the call holding pocket jacks. While Pocket Rockets are undeniably a premium hand, Fishhooks took over the lead when the flop dropped 97J.

This gave Davies a set and the turn and river cards did nothing good to Negreanu who had stood up and was ready to leave with his bag and coffee.

The current edition of 2024 Poker Masters is indeed witnessing some high octane action with notable players from the circuit grinding.

While Negreanu did not show up for the current edition he will mark his attendance at GGPoker’s WSOP Online 2024. ‘KidPoker’ shared an update on his Twitter handle about him turning into a commentator for the $25K GGMilions final table.

No news came from the Canadian pro about grinding in the WSOP Online 2024 tournaments, but many of his followers hope to see him make the final table of the GGMillions event.

The GGPoker ambassador took down the coveted Poker Players Championship at the WSOP 2024 event in Las Vegas, ending an 11-year bracelet drought.
