GG Poker Hosts Online Day 1 for EAPT Georgia Main Event on September 1st, 2024

GG Poker has added an Online Day 1 to the $140,000 guaranteed Eurasian Poker Tour (EAPT) Georgia Main Event, which takes place in Batumi from 7-15 September, 2024.

The live festival will be held at the Eclipse Club in the Georgian capital, with a full schedule of tournaments, including the $500 Main Event and the $235 Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty. In total there is over $350,000 in tournament guanatees during the 9-day poker festival.

It looks like this online day 1 will be in lieu of regular live event satellites, where players win their seat online, but play the actual tournament live.

In this online starting day, players who survive are automatically through to Day 2 in the live venue and will be in the prize money as soon as they arrive to play in Batumi.

EAPT Georgia Main Event Online Day 1 - Batumi or Bust!

The Online Day 1 for the $500 EAPT Georgia Main Event takes place on GG Poker at 18.05 (CET) on Sunday 1st September. Players start with 40,000 chips and the day is run on 15-minute clock.

The day ends when 15% of the players remain, who will reconvene live in Georgia on Sunday 15th September, for the second and final day of the $140,000 guaranteed tournament.

Players should note that the organisers of the event are not charging any fees to players to participate in events at the EAPT Georgia festival, however, all tournament winnings are subject to a 15% Georgian Government tax, according to the EAPT website.

Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty

Luxon Pay is sponsoring the Mystery Bounty Tournament at EAPT Georgia. The tournament costs $235 to enter and has a $30,000 guarantee. In addition to the guarantee, the winner of the Mystery Bounty tournament will also win a $4,000 package to the Luxon Pay Grand Final.

Luxon is also adding two further packages (each valued at $4,000 to the Luxon pay Grand Final) to the winner and runner up of the EAPT Georgia Main Event.

This is not the first event that Luxon Pay has added valuye to recently, as they are also sponsoring the Mystery Bounty Tournament at the Irish Poker Festival in Dublin in October.

There are fifteen (15) tournaments on the EAPT Georgia schedule, plus satellites. The smallest buy-in is $100 and the largest is just $750, making it a very affordable destination for a poker holiday.
