The Asian Poker Tour sponsored by Natural8.com has announced the schedule for the upcoming APT Taipei 2024.

The 2024 APT Taipei festival runs February 28 to March 10 with over $4.8million in guaranteed prize money.

The APT Main Event comes with a $2m guaranteed prize pool – the largest in the tour's 17-year history.

Speaking on Monday, APT CEO Fred Leung said of the upcoming APT Taipei event: "APT is continually expanding its offerings to accommodate different bankrolls. We have added more high-stakes offerings with buy-ins as high as $25,000, but we have also included exciting events for the everyman as well."

He added: "Whether you play nosebleed stakes or are coming to your first poker event, APT Taipei will have something for you and is the very definition of a can't-miss event!"

The 12-day festival takes place in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold'em Poker Club and starts with a four-day $480,000 National Cup which gets underway on Wednesday, February 28.

The action-packed opening weekend also boasts the Mystery Bounty Hunter on March 2-3, as well as the first of the festival's three signature events; the APT Super High Roller.

Catering to those with bigger bankrolls, APT Taipei 2024 will offer daily high roller events, including the Superstar Challenge on March 1-2, while the highlight of the festival will be the $2,225) APT Main Event, which boasts the largest ever prize pool guarantee for the tour at $2 million) and runs March 3-9.

The 12-day series has both pot-limit Omaha and No Limit Hold’em tournaments on the schedule.
