APT Jeju Schedule Announced with Prize Pool Guarantees Exceeding $3.7 Million.

After a seven year hiatus, the Asian Poker Tour, powered by Natural8, is returning to Jeju, South Korea in 2024, running from April 26th until May 5th. The schedule for APT Jeju has just been released, including 85 events on the schedule with a combined KWR 5 Billion ($3.76m USD) in guarantees.

In collaboration with Landing Entertainment Korea, the APT Jeju 2024 festival will unfold at the prestigious Landing Hotel & Casino within the Jeju Shinhwa Resort. The location is nothing short of extraordinary and when not at the poker tables, players can take in the serene beauty of Jeju Island.

This year’s tournament heralds the first APT Jeju event in seven years, with the previous Main Event champion, Japan’s Katsuhiro Muto, having been crowned in March 2017. The 2024 prize pools have soared, boasting more than a twentyfold increase from the last Jeju APT festival.

Events and Guarantees

Spanning ten days, the APT Jeju will feature 85 Trophy Events, with guaranteed prize pools totalling over KRW 5 billion (~USD 3.76 million). The APT Main Event itself carries an impressive KRW 2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guarantee. Poker aficionados can look forward to a diverse selection of 53 No Limit Hold'em tournaments, 11 High Roller tournaments, 18 Omaha tournaments, and a mix of 14 assorted

games. Notably, two new events will debut this year: the Omaha Masters and the Mix Game Masters.

However, the APT has also advised that some of the Mix Game, Omaha, or Hold'em variations on the schedule are pending regulatory approval. Any necessary adjustments to the festival schedule will be made in accordance with regulatory guidance.
