German pro Fedor Holz turned second runner-up in the $100K Triton Main Event at the ongoing World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise 2024.

GGPoker ambassador Fedor Holz had a third place finish in the $100K Triton Main Event played at the WSOP Paradise 2024 in Bahamas.

The pro cum poker coach entered the final table with the second highest chip count of 9,075,000 (73 BB).

This impressive finish came after the German failed to make it in the money in the $1 million Triton Invitational game which saw him bust at the 23rd spot.

The Triton Main Event was eventually shipped by Alex Foxen who claimed his third WSOP gold bracelet for a sum of $3.8 million.
Talking about Holz, the pro has four Triton Poker Series titles to his credit. With over $47 million in total live tournament earnings, Holz sits on the 13th spot of the All Time Money List behind David Peters.

In an interesting hand that played out during the Triton Main Event, Holz locked horns with eventual runner-up Joao Vieira.

This hand saw ‘CrownUpGuy’ play with K♥️J♣️ against Vieira’s A♣️K♣️. Using two time banks did not help Vieira as his bet of 350K was met with a raise of over 2 million on the river. Vieira called only to see the bad news Holz had in store for him.

The Pokercode founder was up by 2,525,000 chips but this good run ended in third place for a payday of $1,830,000.
