When Ren Lin’s Ace-King Crashed At Triton Poker Series

Well-known poker pro Tony ‘Ren’ Lin was seen grinding at the Triton Poker Series in Monte Carlo when his Ace-King crashed against his rival’s Ace-Ten. 

During the $25K WPT Global Ultimate Slam tournament at Triton Poker Series Monte Carlo, Lin was heads-up against another player called Frederic Delval. Lin had AK suited against Delval’s Ace-Ten offsuit. 

When blind levels were 15K/30K big blind ante 30K, Lin was all-in preflop with $2880K chips and Delval made the call. The dealer fanned out a board of 3 T T 7 Q. 

Lin’s opponent won the hand and scooped 605,000 chips and while the China-born pro was eliminated from the game. 

This WPT Global tournament had a total of 170 players in action with only 39 remaining when the GGPoker Team China member was eliminated. 
Talking about Triton Poker Series, the live series brand announced its first stop for 2025. The first Triton Poker series of the year will be hosted from 26 February to 15 March at the Landing Casino at Jeju Shinwa World in South Korea.

The full schedule includes a No Limit Hold’em (NLH) Main Event with a buy-in worth $100,000. This event will run from 7-9 March.

Other tournaments in the series include events like the $20,000 WPT Global Slam (March 2-4), $125,000 NLH 7-Handed event (March 8-9) and the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) Main Event (March 11-12).
