Poker Races And Bounty Hunter Games Now Live On ACR Poker

ACR Poker launched two new games this week to attract more players to its platform. By incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and blending elements from daily fantasy sports (DFS), poker multi-table tournaments (MTTs), lottery sit-and-go’s, and casino games, Poker Races and Bounty Hunter games deliver fast-paced poker action. These games are designed to appeal to casual players and fans of televised poker.

Poker Races is a new game where players buy in for a set price and are assigned five AI-controlled players—referred to as "racers"—to participate in a simulated MTT. 

The game features cartoon-style graphics that visually track the progress of your racers as the tournament unfolds at a rapid pace. 

Key hands influencing the performance of each racer are highlighted, and a user-friendly interface displays important information, such as average chip stacks, the number of players remaining until the money, and the placement of each racer in the tournament. 

Within just a few minutes, the tournament progresses past the bubble phase, at which point a randomised prize pool is revealed. 

Players whose racers make it to the money can earn bonus prizes, especially if more than one racer qualifies. Their chip stacks are combined into a single stack at this stage.

At this point, players can choose to take control of their remaining racer and play the tournament themselves. Alternatively, they may allow the AI to continue playing on their behalf. 

Similar to a flipout tournament, luck plays a role in getting a racer into the money, but poker skills come into play to win the largest share of the prize pool.

The second new game, Bounty Hunter, offers an even faster-paced experience. While it does not make use of your poker skills as much as Poker Races do, it captures the thrill of tournament poker.

Bounty Hunter is particularly suited for players who enjoy watching poker on TV but have not yet played themselves. In this game, participants 'buy' a random virtual player competing in a 110,000-player tournament. The tournament results are pre-determined, and players follow the progression of their chosen entrant as they face a series of confrontations. 

Each time their player eliminates another, part of the defeated player’s bounty is awarded to them, with the other half added to their own bounty, following the structure of a progressive knockout tournament. Each participant starts with a random bounty value.

Special jackpots are available for players whose virtual entrants reveal two flushes during the tournament, with higher-ranking flushes offering greater prizes. The tournament operates as a 100% bounty format, with no traditional prize pool, providing numerous opportunities to accumulate bounties.

For players who prefer instant results, the game includes a feature that allows them to bypass the suspense and reveal their outcomes and prizes immediately through a virtual scratch card.
