Back in the day when Punnat Punsri marked his attendance at the Triton Super High Roller Series he locked horns with Spanish pro Adrian Mateos. The hand had three players, namely, Punsri, Mateos and Satubayev.

The action on preflop was shooting the roof when Mateos 3-bet with 435K on top of Punsri’s 100K raise which was matched by Satubayev. At this point, it was a good idea to fold on Satubayev’s part as he held KQ offsuit.

Punsri was looking to make some steamy moves with his A3 suited and he did when he overbet 1.1 Million into a pot which was 685K. Talk about making killer moves at the felts and Punsri was taking it a notch higher.

The Spanish national thought for a while and folded his AQ offsuit which seemed like a good idea as Punsri wasn’t backing out of some high octane action.

Talking about Punsri, the pro is a regular at Triton Poker Series, and other live events like APT and WSOP. He finished second in the $5K No Limit Hold’em 8 Handed at WSOP 2024. He narrowly missed out on grabbing a gold bracelet and settled for a payday of over $500,000.
