GGPoker Ambassador Makes Day 2 In WSOP Online Main Event

Daniel Negreanu is battling it out in the WSOP Online 2024 Main Event. This tournament could possibly give the GGPoker ambassador his eighth WSOP bracelet. Negreanu made Day 2 of the $25 Million GTD WSOP Online 2024 Main Event late on Saturday night.

The Canadian pro is in Vancouver, grinding and streaming on GGPoker. Poker fans can catch the streams on GGPoker’s official YouTube channel.

‘KidPoker’ participated in Day 1N of the Main Event but busted soon before making it in the money. Apart from the WSOP Online Main Event, Negreanu bought into the $10,000 Heads-Up Championship but sadly exited in the second round.

The seven-time WSOP bracelet winner also competed in Day 1O of the Main Event. This time he bagged and tagged for Day 2 with 583,012 chips (42 big blinds) in his kitty. Day 2 will kick off on Monday evening.

Negreanu will be streaming his Day 2 play as the tournament advances and boils down to a final table. The coveted Main Event champion will be crowned on Tuesday. There are around 456 players who made Day 2, with two more starting day flights remaining.

GGPoker currently stands $2,736,750 short of hitting the $25 Million guarantee mark. The much awaited Main Event has put a whopping $3,518,199 for the title holder.

All nine players who make the final table will be guaranteed a prize money of at least $439,800. Players who qualified for Day 2 will get a minimum payout of $11,738.

Negreanu is not the only prominent player fighting for the Main Event title. Other notable players who will lock horns for the top spot are Niklas Astedt, who finished third in the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas, Dominik Nitsche, and Mikita Badziakouski.
