Daniel Negreanu Records His Bust Out Hand In Triton Million

Daniel Negreanu is back with his vlogs for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise 2024. The GGPoker ambassador did not shy away from recording an all-in hand which turned out to be his bust out hand. 

In this first episode of his vlog, Negreanu picks up right where his summer vlogs left off—at his home in Las Vegas. Viewers get a look at his newly finished gym and follow him as he packs for his trip, spends some quality time with his wife, and eventually arrives in the Bahamas.

The episode also includes footage of Negreanu attending the draw party for the highly anticipated Triton Million. He was invited by VIP Ryan Feldman, and both players committed to a significant buy-in of $500,000.

'KidPoker' made it to Day 2 of the tournament but unfortunately did not make it in the money. Negreanu was eliminated on Day 2 during Level 12, where the blinds were set at 15,000/30,000/30,000. Kayhan Mokri opened the betting with a raise to 65,000 from middle position. After another player called, Negreanu responded by three-betting to 225,000 from the big blind.

Mokri then went all-in, prompting Negreanu to get his selfie stick out and say, "Sometimes you gotta gamble," before making the call.

Negreanu held A♣K♣ while Mokri had K♠K♦. This left Negreanu needing an ace to stay in the tournament. A tablemate informed him that one of his outs was no longer available. The board ran out 4♠10♣5♦7♦J♠, ending Negreanu's pursuit of an eighth WSOP bracelet.

While Negreanu's first tournament at WSOP Paradise did not lead to a deep run, he still has many chances ahead to earn his eighth bracelet of the year, with more than a dozen events left on the schedule.
