Poker players started 2025 with a bang as ACR Poker hosted a series of tournaments on the first Sunday of the year. Here’s a quick recap of the weekend grind on ACR Poker.

The virtual felts were buzzing with action on ACR Poker as players competed for competitive prize pools.

Euro Special

Early risers and European players flocked to the Euro Special, a $215 buy-in event that surpassed its $100,000 guarantee. With 693 entries, the prize pool swelled to $138,600, rewarding 85 players. ‘Kuei1995’ emerged victorious, pocketing $28,639 in prize money.

Sunday Special

The Sunday Special lived up to its name, attracting 743 entries and just barely missing its $150,000 guarantee. The tournament saw 97 players cash out, with ‘thedeepend1’ claiming the top spot and a $30,221 payday.

Moneymaker

Named after Chris Moneymaker, the $109 buy-in Moneymaker tournament drew an impressive 3,443 entrants. The prize pool ballooned to $344,300, with 434 players sharing a piece of the final prize pool. After a tense final table, ‘schellzera’ and ‘CRAVADINHA’ struck a deal, securing $47,421 and $46,479 respectively.

Sunday High Roller

The Sunday High Roller event saw 1,061 entries, each shelling out $630 for a shot at the top prize. The final prize pool stood at $636,600 prize pool.

‘RaiseUpBlind’ lived up to their username, taking home the lion’s share of the prize pool worth $123,570.

Bounty Bonanza

Rounding out the day was the progressive knockout tournament called Sunday Banana PKO. With a $1,050 buy-in, 272 players created a final prize pool worth $272,000.

The PKO format saw players collecting bounties throughout the event, with ‘0000s0000’ amassing an impressive $33,374 in bounties on top of their $24,123 first-place prize.
